Out west at the PPA Vegas Cup, Anna Leigh Waters earned her remarkable 37th career triple crown, sweeping singles, women’s doubles with Anna Bright, and mixed doubles with Ben Johns. Johns also prevailed in men’s doubles, teaming up with Gabriel Tardio to outlast Christian Alshon and Andrei Daescu in an electrifying five-game final. In men’s singles, Roscoe Bellamy delivered a breakout run to the championship match, defeating several top seeds, including No. 1 Hunter Johnson, before ultimately earning silver against Federico Staksrud.
